Diane Mifsud Depasquale
Managing Director

30 years of experience in the travel industry has paved the way forward to opening Compass Travel Ltd in 2016.  A Travel Agency specialising in long-haul travel, honeymoons and cruises. Diane has extensive knowledge in the travel industry and has travelled to countries such as China, Japan, India, Mongolia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Caribbean, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, USA, Canada, South Africa, Mauritius, Egypt, Morocco, Turkey, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and her home country Australia to name a few.

Having escorted several groups to China, Colombia, Vietnam, Japan and South Africa, she has become familiar with what the traveller needs and what is expected from a holiday.  Diane’s extensive knowledge of worldwide destinations is continuously passed on to her team members in order to offer the best planning and advice to all customers.  The guidance and knowledge of each country is essential in planning an unforgettable holiday, hence the name Compass Travel –
As every Traveller needs a Compass!




Martina Sammut
Senior Travel Advisor

Martina graduated with a B.A. (Hons) in Tourism Studies from the University of Malta.
She has travelled to Spain, Andorra, France, Slovenia, Austria, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Czech Republic,  Hungary, Romania, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, Morocco, Vietnam and Singapore.

One of her favourite places is Edinburgh and Scotland in general, where she lived for four months.  "The city is very welcoming and you will never find yourself bored and with nothing to do there", explains Martina.

As she started her career with Compass Travel, she has had the opportunity to meet new people, learn about new destinations and also about different ways of planning a holiday. "There’s never a day that is the same as another and you always need to keep yourself up-to-date because it is such a fast-paced and dynamic industry 😊".  She enjoys seeing clients fall in love with a destination when they start learning about it and understanding what it has to offer.

 


Amanda Pulo
Travel Executive

Travel has always been her passion and due to this reason, she embarked on her journey with Compass Travel in 2022.  She specialised in linguistics during her studies and has a love for history.
She has travelled extensively around Europe and visited countries such as Ireland, Italy, France, England, Spain, Hungary, Cyprus, Germany and Greece.  Amanda handles our European requests and assists with our corporate clients.
At Compass Travel, under the guidance of Diane, she is broadening her knowledge in travel by getting conversant with different cultures, destinations and what the world has to offer!
With plenty of experience in customer service, she has excellent people skills and is always happy to assist our customers and help them plan their dream holiday.




Kylie Cauchi
Travel Executive

Kylie is our youngest team member and will graduate with a B.A. (Hons) in Hospitality Management from the Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) in the coming months. Before Hospitality Management, she focused on Travel & Tourism operations. She also had the opportunity to live abroad in England, Croatia and Finland attending university and carrying out internships.

Kylie has travelled to European destinations such as Italy, Austria, Croatia, England, Estonia, Finland, Slovenia, Scotland, Sweden and Sicily. Travelling for Kylie means an escape from ordinary life and experiencing new acquaintances, perspectives, stories, cultures, traditions and scenery.

Due to her fondness for travel and her background studies, Kylie decided to move from the hotel hospitality environment to start her travel agency journey with Compass Travel under the guidance of Diane herself. She enjoys learning about destinations, managing social media and planning. She is a dedicated team member and strives to help clients in their travel arrangements.

Shanice Azzopardi
Theme Parks, Marketing and Social Media Executive

Shanice is the latest addition to the Compass Travel team. She graduated as a Primary School teacher with a B.Ed. (Hons) from the University of Malta. She has travelled widely around Europe, and outside it too. Her favourite destinations she has visited so far are Japan, USA (California & Florida) and Rwanda.
Shanice is also a massive Disney fan, and has almost visited all Disney parks around the world. Her knowledge about Disney will be of great help to our clients, and she handles all Disney enquiries in our office.
Social Media is also one of Shanice’s passions, and she is also managing the company’s platforms and marketing.
